🗳️ Gujarat Gram Panchayat Election 2025 Complete Village‑wise List of Sarpanch & Ward Candidates + All Key Dates

Gujarat’s Gram Panchayat elections in 2025 are set to be one of the largest local democratic exercises in the state’s history. A total of 8,326 Gram Panchayats, 44,850 wards, and over 1.3 crore voters will participate in casting their ballots using paper ballots—not EVMs—across approximately 16,500 polling stations.

📌 Some information 

  • 8,326 Gram Panchayats (including general, mid‑term, by‑elections, and newly created villages) 

  • 44,850 ward seats to be decided 

  • 16,500 polling stations supported by 28,300 ballot boxes 

  • This is the first election after the introduction of 27 % OBC reservation at the Gram Panchayat level 

  • Expenditure limit for Sarpanch candidates varies by ward count:

    • Up to 12 wards → ₹15,000

    • 13–22 wards → ₹30,000

    • 23+ wards → ₹45,000

  • સરપંચ તરીકે ઉમેદવારી માટે ખર્ચની મર્યાદા પંચાયતના વોર્ડોની સંખ્યાના આધારે નક્કી કરવામાં આવી છે:

    • 12 વોર્ડ સુધી: ₹15,000

    • 13 થી 22 વોર્ડ: ₹30,000

    • 23 કરતાં વધુ વોર્ડ: ₹45,000


📥 Voting Instructions & Voter List

  • Voting will be conducted using ballot papers from 7 AM to 6 PM on 22 June, NOT EVMs

    • Voter lists can be downloaded from the SEC portal by navigating to District → Taluka → Village, and users can check if their name appears.


    📊 Result Declaration

    • Counting begins on 25 June — results for every village will be published under the “Results” or “Counting” section on sec-poll.gujarat.gov.in.
