👪 Gujarat Palak Mata‑Pita Yojana 2025 – Complete Guide (₹3,000 Monthly Support)

The Palak Mata‑Pita Yojana, launched by the Gujarat Government, supports orphans or semi‑orphans (children whose both parents have died, or whose fathers passed away and mothers remarried). Eligible foster parents receive ₹3,000 per month via DBT for each child until they turn 18.

👥 Eligibility Criteria

According to official sources:

  • Child must be 0–18 years old

  • Both parents deceased OR father deceased & mother remarried 

  • Foster parent must be a close relative (maternal uncle, aunt, grandparents), not institutional adoption

  • Annual income limit:

    • Rural: ≤ ₹27,000

    • Urban: ≤ ₹36,000 (Income certificate mandatory) 

  • Child must attend Anganwadi (3–6 yrs) or school (6+ yrs). Annual school/Anganwadi certificate required or aid is stopped
